Fetal monitoring takes up a big portion of our shifts, our brain space, and our stress! Whether your patient is on continuous fetal monitoring or intermittent, it is time-consuming and a lot to manage. We wanted to create a class that helped it all make sense, clarify your questions and give you a foundation or work from your foundation to continue to feel more and more confident in your FM interpretation and nursing interventions. We want you to walk away from this course feeling confident that you know what you are talking about, what you are charting, and how to keep your patients safe, all the while supporting their preferences and dignity.
We also wanted you to have a solid understanding of the legal implications of FM, how to protect yourself, what common pitfalls go to court and overall release you from some stress related to your fetal monitoring interpretation. You will learn from Pam Hetrick again as she goes over some real case studies that she has encountered as an expert nurse witness.
